High School Classes

Discipled Youth Academy is a Christian homeschool academy and private school alternative offering a drop-off homeschool program and K-12 Christian education in Summerville, SC, serving the greater Charleston area. We provide homeschool support, homeschool classes, and a structured homeschool community for families seeking flexibility with the guidance of a private academy experience, including kindergarten, elementary, middle school, and high school programs. A homeschool co-op style program with the structure and support of a Christian private academy.

AMBASSADORS: 9th-12th GRADERS. 2026-2027 CLASSES

BIBLE LESSON:  We start each day with prayer and an engaging Bible lesson that helps students grow in their faith and understanding of God's Word.

CULINARY ARTS:  1 elective credit, full year class

HOME ECONOMICS/ LIFE SKILLS:  1 elective credit, full year class

SCIENCE:  Botany - 1 CP credit

MATH:  Bring your own curriculum

ENGLISH:  Bring your own curriculum

SOCIAL STUDIES:  World History  - 1 CP credit

LITERATURE CP:  We will read books together and have lessons

CLUBS:  Art Club, Entrepreneurs Club, Drama Club, Clubs are chosen to build confidence and success. We create opportunities for creations and inventions to be sold, teach advertising and more!

Learning at DYA extends far beyond the classroom! Throughout the year, students and families enjoy a vibrant community filled with special events, guest speakers, ice cream birthday celebrations, field trips, family nights, park meetups, field days, science fairs, student performances, Parents' Night, entrepreneurship events, and so much more. These experiences provide opportunities for friendship, leadership, creativity, hands-on learning, and lasting memories that make each school year truly special.

Self-guided lessons are posted for the entire week! DYA provides lessons for the entire week, families have freedom to decide how, when or if they would like to use them.
