Welcome to our 4th-8th grade class, where we cultivate a joyful and nurturing learning environment that fosters both academic and spiritual growth. BIBLE:  Morning prayer and Bible lesson. 

HOME ECONOMICS/LIFE SKILLS:  Tuesdays, Full credit for 7th and 8th graders.

CULINARY ARTS:  Wednesdays, Full credit for 7th and 8th graders.

SCIENCE:  Botany from The Good and the Beautiful

SOCIAL STUDIES/ HISTORY:  Ancient World History using Easy Peasy All-in-One Homeschool and more

MATH:  Bring your own curriculum

LANGUAGE ARTS:  Bring your own curriculum 

LITERATURE: The Cat of Bubastes: A Tale of Ancient Egypt by Henty. Far Side of the Sea Series by Rebecca Burnworth Book 1 and book 2.  

CLUBS:  Entrepreneurs Club, Drama Club and Art Club

One large container of sanitizing wipes

One pair of scissors 

One (2 or 3 inch) three ringed binder with six dividers

Highlighters, color pencils and markers

A journal for Culinary Arts

Clubs are chosen to build confidence and success. We create opportunities for creations and inventions to be sold, teach advertising and more!


Self-guided lessons are posted for the entire week! Fridays are mostly open for review or tests. DYA provides lessons for the entire week, families have freedom to decide how, when or if they would like to use them. If you are thinking about homeschooling, there is no better time than now!
